Fam. van Tilburg: 22 panels 2300kWh

Thorough renovation was the start of an awareness process

We recently completely renovated our house, from air conditioners in the bedrooms to a TV in the kitchen. As the building progressed, we became aware of a likely increase in energy consumption, caused by our own requirements. Soon, we agreed that “simply” purchasing more kW hours was not an ideal alternative for us. We found that too easy. If you deliberately increase your energy consumption, then you must face the consequences.

Our solution had to be sustainable, and an investment in the future. The decision to buy solar panels was quickly made; a perfect solution!

But then what? It was great that we had made the decision, but who was going to do it for us?

Perfect advice

A huge advertisement on a lorry put us on to Solinq and Eldra. After an intake interview at our house it was quickly determined how many panels were required and what the right solution would be. Everything was neatly and clearly mapped using a computer simulation. Plenty of attention was paid to the underlying technology. This actually led to the Solinq consultant giving us building advice on the maximum roof load.

Solinq completed the grant application for us

Our considerations for purchasing a solar energy system had not included the government grant. By now we had heard a lot about it and were dreading how to deal with this “paper tiger”. That proved unnecessary, as Solinq had already completed and submitted the request.

Effortless installation

The installation went very smoothly. The complete system was installed within two days. It turned out that Eldra, the parent company of Solinq, manufactures the required cables and has developed the correct connectors. And their experience is reflected in the total duration of the project. Less than four weeks! Now that is what you would call being dynamic!
